Offer and costs

Guided by a professional, you can personally assemble the Spartan, which is probably the best-known "Swiss Army Knife". It was designed by the founder of Victorinox, Karl Elsener, and was patented on 12 June 1897. It has since served as the standard model for the range of officer's knives.

You will carefully assemble 27 individual parts, layer by layer. Once you have successfully completed the assembly, you may even engrave the Spartan to create your very own, one-of-a-kind pocketknife.

During the process you will be guided by a professional in English, German, French or Italian. Suitable for children from the age of eight.

Duration: 15 minutes per knife per person. Only one assembly bench is available, so only one knife at a time can be assembled.

Costs: CHF 35., which includes engraving on one side.

Bookings essential!

The first model in the range of officer's knives was the Spartan. The bedrock of its kind, it has been viewed as the ultimate multi-purpose pocket tool for generations. In fact, it has to be the most famous tool on earth.
